About Tyler Jenkins
Tyler R. Jenkins (born November 20th, 2002) is an American trumpet player, composer, and filmmaker. Ever since they slithered out of his mother's womb 20 years ago, Tyler has had the knack for sound. Joining their high school's nationally ranked jazz band and jazz choir paved the way for his miraculous journey to Berklee College of Music in the land of Bostopia.Â
Their composition style comprises of many instrument layers, unusual grooves, and elements of accapella music. Jenkins' bands have opened for Victor Wooten, Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band, and more. Tyler Jenkins has worked with Wayne Bergeron (The Incredibles, West Side Story), and Insaneintherainmusic, a frequent collaborator of Jenkins. Tyler has directed several short films, being accepted into film festivals on the West Coast. Jenkins joined MBM-IAH in 2022 and plans to bring a cultural hurricane to the mix the likes of which the world has never seen.
