About The Jabalis:
An acclaimed blues rock - centered band, The Jabalis have taken the blues music scene by surprise, combining blues, rock, jazz fusion and afro beats into an altered thirsted upon blues sound. Led by bassist Nehemiah Muhiri, the group came up in January 2022, gaining a buzz with there first three singles, Song of My Heart, Colors In The Night and Fighting To Survive which led to the release of their first album later in Fall 2022, published by MBM-IAH Records .
The group is made up of accomplished Berklee College of Music Students as it was founded by a group of friends who are all Berklee affiliated musicians. The group went on and gained a lot of traction in various places having a huge following in Kenya, where the band leader is from. Their tracks went on to be placed in popular playlists around the globe. The group features EMBY MATTHEWS on voice and synth, Ryan Khan on electric guitar, Malachi Rosario on electric guitar, Jack Boone on electric guitar, Tushar B. on Piano and Auxiliaries, Tyler Jenkins on trumpet and Flugel horn, Sami Elfar on trumpet, Matt leon on alto saxophone, Nehemiah Muhiri on bass guitar, Aidan Hall on bass guitar, Victor Gutierrez on drums, Taylor Stanley on drums and Ezra Mulayi on Percussion.
"We expect to release our second album, Taken Out, early spring 2023. We've featured great musicians in our previous works and are looking into doing more in the future, as we begin to do concerts and festivals"

Band Members:
"The Jabalis" is a group of highly skilled musicians, all of whom are students at Berklee College of Music. The band leader and music director, Nehemiah Muhiri, played a pivotal role in the album's creation, serving as the executive producer and contributing as a bass guitarist. Emby Mathews shared his expertise in deep modern synthesis, both as the producer and lead singer. Other members include Aiden Hall (bass guitar), Ethan Burger (synthesizers and keyboards), Tushar Baghat (piano), Ezra Mulayi (congas and percussions), Tyler Jenkins (trumpet and flugelhorn), Matthew Leon (saxophone), Taylor Stanley (drums), Malachi del Rosario, Jack Boone, and Ryan Khan (electric guitar). Bruce Chen, who also played electric guitar, took charge of mixing and mastering the album. Sami Elfar contributed as the studio assistant.
Recording Venue:
The album was recorded at The Record Co in Boston in early 2023, showcasing the band's commitment to utilizing top-notch recording facilities to capture their musical vision.
